This photo features an advertisement from a metro station in Montreal during COP15, the 15th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity, in December 2022. While I spent most of my time observing the formal meetings and negotiations, I also witnessed how the public was engaging with the topic of biodiversity loss, Indigenous rights and how to safeguard our collective future outside of the conference centre.
