Honeybees are truly amazing creatures. They create their own homes, food, and complex societies all with a small enclosed space. Having the opportunity to work at the Honey Bee Research Center this past summer has opened my eyes up to a world of research focusing on these fuzzy creatures. In this photo you can see almost all of the life stages of a honey bee from young larvae, to old larvae, to closed pupal cell, to adult worker bees tending to the young.
