Other Course Description or Assignment Information: 
The course is restricted to MCL students (early-mid career conservation professionals). This course is delivered over ~10 weeks (tentatively November 4th to early/mid January) and is 0.25 credits for the students, thus this work assignment is pro-rated to 0.5. The University of Guelph promotes a healthy campus. Submission of a final and deferred exam, if applicable, to Department ahead of the exam period. Grading deferred exams, if applicable. Follow the course module as outlined in the learning management system (e.g., CourseLink), and will liaise with the Master of Conservation Leadership Grad Coordinator. Preparing course material.

Required Qualifications
Degree: 
Masters related to field
Prior Teaching Experience: 
Successful teaching related to field at college or university level
Experience in professional training.
Required competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
Experience working in the field of conservation partnerships, with demonstrated experience with different kinds or partnerships (public sector, private sector, Indigenous). Content expertise in contemporary conservation challenges. Demonstrated familiarity with the online learning environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior Teaching Experience: 
Many years of successful teaching related to contents of the course.
Research Experience: 
Quality and or Recent Research activity in areas relevant to the course demonstrating knowledge of current developments in course content.
Specific Preferred competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
Recent experience in conservation leadership an asset. Research interests relevant to the field is preferable.

Days and Times Required: 
The course is offered via DE, regular (near-daily) monitoring of the CourseLink discussion board and emails.
