When applying for this work assignment, please be aware that this course is an 'in-person' format. Candidate will be required to work during regular University instructional hours (8:30 AM to 10:00 PM EST) as required. Some of the duties of this job may include conversing with students via chat or other interactive online software, for which the candidate must have access to a computer and a reliable internet connection or in-person office hours. In addition, the candidate may be required to perform duties during scheduled face-to-face lecture and/or lab times, course evaluations, and invigilation of midterms and finals. Other Duties Described: 
Duties for TA work assignments in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics include other ADMINISTRATIVE duties (dept. and final exam invigilation and course evaluations, and other departmental duties specified by the Chair). Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) Training must be completed. If you have not already done so, complete the three (3) mandatory administrative courses and upload your certificates of completion to your Work Assignment profile.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications: 
Enrollment in a graduate program in Mathematics and Statistics or closely related program. A thorough understanding of first year mathematics is required, as well as the ability to independently run laboratory sessions.
Preferred Qualifications: 
Excellent communications skills plus familiarity with Courselink would be an asset.
