Prior Teaching Experience:
Experience with community-engaged or community-facing research related to IEDI.
Specific Preferred competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content:
Demonstrated active research related to gender, sexuality, Indigeneity, race, and class. Examples: conference presentations, publications such as an article or book chapters. Demonstrated experience teaching content relate to IEDI and social justice as it connects to music at the post secondary level. Publications that demonstrate a fluency with feminist musicology, critical race studies, postcolonial studies, queer theory, crip theory, or other cultural and critical theory methods.
