Required Qualifications:
Graduate students at the University of Guelph, eligible for employment in Unit 1 of Local 3913. Applicants must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. A strong background in plant physiology and anatomy is required. Experience in preparing and using plant material for a range of experimental approaches is required. Training in plant biochemistry is an asset. Excellent communication is essential to convey the excitement of plant science, to evaluate lab exercises and to deal with concerns of individual students. By applying for this TA position, you are agreeing to be available on campus to complete all assigned duties as determined by the instructor(s), available to attend all mandatory meetings, the dates for invigilating and grading the midterm, and available until the end of the contract to invigilate and grade final exams.
