Required Qualifications:
Must be enrolled as a graduate student. The following are also required: 1. Demonstrated ability to safely and humanely handle large animal species (horse, cow, sheep). 2. A thorough knowledge and ability to perform physical examination of common domestic species (dog, cat, sheep, horse and cow), and 3. Documentation of an adequate antibody titre against rabies measured within the past two years.
Preferred Qualifications:
Applicants with a DVM degree will be given priority. For equally qualified DVM applicants, preference will take into consideration type(s) and extent of past large animal experience. Training in teaching, communication, giving feedback, and/or assessment would be an asset. Preference will also be given to applicants with past experience teaching in VETM*3430/3440/4870.
