The School of Fine Art and Music (SOFAM) has a remarkable resource in the Print Study Collection, which contains over 2,200 works spanning the technological and aesthetic developments of printmaking from the sixteenth century to today. The artists and master printmakers represented in the Collection provide a material history of fine art printing that enables students of the University of Guelph to engage with the medium's formal and technical traditions and innovations through works that invite critical analysis and reflection. the collection has, furthermore, become a laboratory for curatorial practice, providing opportunities for students to acquire training object handling and management and in mounting exhibitions, which is a collaborative intellectual practice that drives research in the histories of art and visual culture.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications: 
Applicants are required to have graduate training and a working knowledge of Studio art or Art History and Visual Culture
Preferred Qualifications: 
Registration in the MFA.SART program during the Winter 2025 Semester
