Other Course Description or Assignment Information: 
Working as an assistant to the Foundations Coordinator (3D), the GSA for SART*1060 is required to attend most preparation and marks meetings, as well as meet with the coordinator on a regular basis. Duties include preparation of class materials, including some AV presentations. Familiarity with Teams is needed. The GSA will also create video tours of the SOFAM facilities for external guests and prospective undergraduate and graduate students. This position requires you to be on campus. The University of Guelph has vaccination and masking policies that may be altered with limited notice depending on COVID-19 circumstances and advice from government, public health authorities, and prevailing science. Currently, the vaccination policy is paused and masking will be paused as of July 1, 2022 (https://news.uoguelph.ca/2022/06/covid-19-update-masking-update-and-classes-on-campus-this-fall/). With the evolving nature of the pandemic, public health measures may resume with little advance notice to address the health risks. Should this occur, vaccinations will be required. Other Duties Described: 
The DMS is a dedicated space for graduate student research. The DMS hosts weekly seminars during the semester and contains digital and A/V production equipment that is available to graduate students for their projects. The DMS GSA is responsible for the general maintenance of the space. Duties include a weekly cleaning of all rooms in the DMS, maintaining an inventory of all equipment and reorganizing the different spaces for more efficient use. SART 1060 Assistant Working as an assistant to the Foundations Coordinator (3D), the GSA for SART*1060 is required to attend most preparation and marks meetings, as well as meet with the coordinator on a regular basis. Duties include preparation of class materials, including some AV presentations. Familiarity with Zoom and Teams is helpful.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications: 
Applicants are required to have graduate level training and a working knowledge of Studio Art.
Preferred Qualifications: 
Registration in the Graduate Studio Art program (MFA.SART) during the Winter 2025 semester.
