A minimum of a BLA with related professional experience
Prior Teaching Experience:
Successful supervision/teaching related to the field within a professional practice context
Required competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content:
The successful candidate must demonstrate the competence, capability, skill, and ability to teach the following:
(1) Basic knowledge and skills related to principles of site grading and technical design as applicable to site engineering for Landscape Architecture (e.g., green infrastructure/ SWM utility design standards, accessibility/barrier-free standards, and the latest editions of the Canadian Landscape Standard, Ontario Building Code, AODA, etc.);
(2) Production of ‘site engineering’ documents (plan drawings, section/elevation drawings, specifications and budgets for preparing existing condition and grading direction drawings);
(3) Techniques and conventions related to ‘best practices’ in standard technical drawing set-up.
