1) Reviewing of DoM Information Checklist for Sessional Faculty (emailed to you prior to semester start up); 2) Completing one-time only three online UofG administrative training courses before the start of classes and uploading certificates of completion by the end of May; 3) Maintaining CourseLink; 4) Submitting Deferred Exam and Marking Rubric to Academic Assistant before end of semester; 5) TA Coordination meetings if applicable; 6) Review Schedule of Dates on UofG website

CPA and completion of CPA In-depth Tax Course (considered equivalent to Masters in related field)

Many years of successful teaching related to contents of the course.
Required competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
Please attach your up-to-date CV as well as teaching evaluation evidence to your Application; In depth knowledge of non-routine issues in personal and corporate taxation, tax planning for individuals and closely held corporations, taxation of complex corporation transactions, and estate and succession planning for individuals. This course is intended to help students achieve the competencies related to Elective Module 4 (E4) – Taxation in the CPA Competency Map. It covers the competencies necessary to provide taxation services and guidance. Topics include: compliance and tax-planning issues for both individuals and corporate entities, as well as, partnerships and trusts, risk tolerance of all stakeholders involved, tax governance, controls, and risk management, and the importance of taking taxes into account when making business and investment decisions; Significant professional experience advising individuals and corporations in the areas described above.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior teaching of ACCT*6300 at University of Guelph; Prior teaching of ACCT*3350 or ACCT*4350 at University of Guelph
Specific Preferred competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
Familiarity with or prior teaching experience in the tax module of the PEP program.
