This course focuses on the development, design and management of the hospitality built environment. It explores issues related to the planning and development of hospitality and sporting event properties, provides an introduction to property and asset management as related to the hospitality and sport industry, and examines universal design as applied to the 'servicescape', all within the broad context of sustainability.

Masters related to field
PhD in progress related to field
Prior Teaching Experience: 
Successful teaching related to field at college or university level
Required competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
Knowledge of core content as it relates to development, design and management of the physical environment. Knowledge of planning, development and maintenance of hospitality and sporting event facilities. Ability to explain the physical environment in terms of asset management, revenue generation and human experiences.
Preferred Qualifications

Prior Teaching Experience: 
Successful teaching related to field at college or university level.
Research Experience: 
Quality and or Recent Research activity in related field demonstrating knowledge of current developments in course content.
