This course takes a multi-species approach to understanding the basic principles of reproduction in domestic animals. The developmental biology, the anatomy and the physiology of reproductive systems in ruminants, swine, equine, canine, feline, and birds are explored. In addition, the development and application of reproductive technologies for animal management are discussed. The University of Guelph promotes a healthy campus. No teaching experience required
Required competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
Candidate should demonstrate good teaching skills, and experience and vast knowledge in the field of animal reproduction, including the following: anatomy of reproductive tract, reproductive endocrinology, reproductive physiology, gametogenesis, embryology, placentation, developmental biology, parturition and puerperium, reproductive management of livestock.
