Artist Diploma in Music or equivalent
Prior Teaching Experience: 
Successful teaching related to field at college or university level
Required competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
Experience coaching and developing music groups/ensembles that combine vocalists and instrumentalists. Music industry experience is required. Applicants must have experience performing in a variety of popular music traditions.
Preferred Qualifications

Artist Diploma in Music or equivalent with a specialization in popular music traditions.
Prior Teaching Experience: 
Many years of successful teaching related to contents of the course.
Specific Preferred competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
Evidence of successful teaching related to contents of the course. Experience leading a post-secondary level ensemble connected to popular music practices. Direct evidence of current and recent performance experience in popular music practices (for example in genres such as pop, rock, country, R&B, hip-hop, electronic dance music, etc.). Direct music industry performance and production experience (including recording, performing, creating, marketing).
