Required Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have:
• Successfully completed this course or one similar
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• An enthusiastic and professional attitude towards teaching
• Completed, up-to-date Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) training
• Demonstrated competence programming one or more industrial robotic systems (Kuka, Fanuc, CRS, ABB, etc.)
• Demonstrated competence using a current high-level programming language (C/C++, Java, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates meeting the required qualifications will be evaluated on the following criteria:
• Subject matter expertise, including forward and inverse kinematics, Jacobian, robotics path generation and dynamics
• Interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Teaching experience
• Teaching effectiveness
• Strong laboratory experience related to course material
