The students learn to produce construction drawings, documents, and cost estimates using computer and manual techniques. The University of Guelph has vaccination and masking policies that may be altered with limited notice depending on COVID-19 circumstances and advice from government, public health authorities, and prevailing science. Currently, the vaccination and masking policies are paused but may resume with little advance notice to address the health risks. Should this occur, vaccinations will be required. Required Qualifications: 
Graduate students at the University of Guelph, eligible for employment in Unit 1 of Local 3913. Candidates must: (1) be an MLA or graduate student with a BLA; (2) have excellent skills in construction documentation; (3) be highly organized; (4) be able to provide technical assistance on a variety of software used in the assembly of construction drawings and presentation materials; (5) should have professional construction experience developing and assembling construction drawings, and (6) be able to provide students with critical feedback on student-based construction drawings and presentation materials. By applying for this TA position, you are agreeing to be available on campus to complete all assigned duties as determined by the instructor(s), available to attend all mandatory meetings, and available until the end of the contract to invigilate and grade final exams.
Days Required and Wages
Days and Times Required: 
M/W 1:30 PM - 2:20 PM and 2:30 PM - 4:20 PM
