Anticipated Duties and Responsibilities: Audio, lighting and video skills Ability to learn new technologies Safe practices Some knowledge of accessibility as it relates to event coordination Event coordination Support for telematic performances Other Duties Described: IICSI is hosting two (2) GSAs to help assist our Musical and Technical Production Coordinator at the ImprovLab, our new CFI-funded research and performance facility. Students will be trained in how to set up the space and technology in response to event needs. As the equipment is still arriving (through purchasing), students will test and problem-solve the equipment in the space and learn to implement technologies for projects and events. Some background in theatre, music, or sound would be a useful asset, as well as some knowledge of safety practices and accessibility practices in event spaces.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications: 
Applicant must be enrolled as an PhD student in IMPR.
Preferred Qualifications: 
PhD student in IMPR and have excellent analytical and writing skills.
Days Required and Wages
Days and Times Required: 
Hours are flexible, but will require on-campus time, being trained by our Production Coordinator, and learning from other technicians and students who have been trained on our equipment and on the new theatre equipment at SETS.
Wage Rate (per hour, per semester, per Full-load 1.0 Work Assignment): 
GSA-1 $47.87/hr; $6,707.00/semester effective 2024/25
