This position will support the development of an experiential learning performance project in Theatre Studies. The project involves using local archival materials as the source for a devising project, tracking skills students obtain over the course of the project and creating an educational workbook based on the process. The GSA will do an initial scan of archival materials in Theatre Studies’ spaces and McLaughlin library, train in Qualtrics and develop a draft survey on experiential learning skills and explore templates for educational resources. The University of Guelph has vaccination and masking policies that may be altered with limited notice depending on COVID-19 circumstances and advice from government, public health authorities, and prevailing science. Currently, the vaccination and masking policies are paused. With the evolving nature of the pandemic, public health measures may resume with little advance notice to address the health risks. Should this occur, vaccinations will be required. You can choose to submit proof of vaccination before your start date. Include archiving and organizing theatre resources, both physical and digital, supporting in the creation and maintenance of storage systems, contributing to ongoing inventory project, other duties as assigned and agreed upon. This position includes some lifting/moving of objects. Duties can be modified to work with accommodations as necessary.

Registration in the MA or PHD program in SETS

Registration in SETS graduate program during the Summer 2025 semester.
