The U of G community is proud of your accomplishments. You have achieved a significant milestone and we look forward to seeing how the foundations you have developed as a student will support you in the future. Remember that you are always welcome here. You are a student for a short time - but a Gryphon forever.
Convocation is a time for celebration, it’s an opportunity to come together as a community to honour our students’ success and achievements. This event is a shared experience, let’s work together to help create a positive atmosphere to celebrate our grads!
Important Dates Fall 2026:
| Date | Description |
| Week of August 10 | Ceremony registration opens for Fall 2026 graduating students through WebAdvisor. |
| September 18 | Deadline to register for a ceremony time slot. |
| September 22 | Students will be notified by the Registrar's Office if additional guest tickets are available for purchase for their ceremony. |
| October 2 | Gown rental and ticket payment is due and must be done through WebAdvisor. Please review the Guest Tickets section for more information. |
| October 5 | Deadline to submit refund request for gown rental and guest tickets. Once tickets are distributed, refunds can no longer be processed. Please submit requests to convpay@uoguelph.ca. |
| October 5 | Students will receive all guest tickets via email. Only students who have registered for a ceremony and completed payment will receive their electronic guest tickets. |
| October 13 | Fall 2026 Convocation. To attend Convocation, graduating students must register in advance for their ceremony. |
