Engineering the technologies that shape better living.

“As far back as I can remember, I’ve been interested in sports sciences. I wanted to get into engineering because it allowed me to pursue that and Biomedical Engineering, as a whole, is such an expansive field. My co-op placements included working at a gait lab here on campus, then creating prosthetics, then at Harvard where I studied at the Spaulding National Running Centre. Co-op learning was a big reason I pursued Biomedical Engineering at U of G.”

“A big takeaway for me here at the University of Guelph was the support; in terms of the peers I’ve connected with, the professors I’ve been able to interact with and the groups that have been formed here on campus, whether it be for my studies, the research aspect or just life. My support system has really been there for me and I can’t thank them enough for that.”
