In her nomination, Katelyn Gilmore wrote: Laura is my colleague who has been training me within my new role at U of G over the past month. She has made me feel welcomed to the team and into my new role, has always been patient when I have asked her so many questions while learning, and has taken the time for me despite having her own workload to worry about. I appreciate her for all that she has done to help me transition to my new career at U of G.

I would like to nominate Helen Oliver- she works tirelessly at the Animal Health Laboratory to keep everything running smoothly. She volunteers her time for the social committee and united way. She’s a pleasure to work with and she deserves the recognition.

A virtual celebration was held for Helen and a prize was sent to her as a token of thanks.
