Important Dates and Deadlines
- October 1, 2024: Winter housing applications open.
- October 11, 2024: Winter admission information webinar.
- November 1: Deadline to apply for winter admission.
- November 15: Deadline to accept your offer of admission for winter 2025.
- November 15: Deadline to apply for apply for guaranteed housing (international students) and pay the $750 CAD residence deposit.
- December 2, 2024: Deadline to meet conditions in your offer of admission.
- December 15, 2024: Deadline to pay the $2,000 international tuition deposit.

The application deadline for winter 2025 entry is November 1, 2024. We encourage applicants to apply as soon as possible to allow for [KM1] sufficient time to apply for their study permit.
International undergraduate students are guaranteed university housing for the duration of their academic endeavours at U of G.
First-year Canadian citizens and permanent residents applying from outside of Canada are guaranteed residence for their first year of studies.
To be eligible, you must accept your offer to the University of Guelph, apply to residence, and pay the $750 CAD residence deposit by November 15, 2024, to start in January.
