Research Summary: In this study municipalities from across Ontario will be surveyed and interviewed to evaluate their capacity to respond to evolving agricultural issues and their willingness to support the agri-food industry. A vibrant agricultural sector benefits from a knowledgeable and supportive municipal sector, and it is important that policy makers understand the needs of the agriculture industry and have the resources to help ensure timely, relevant decisions in support of this sector and the economy of rural Ontario.
