A life celebration for Paul Ord will be held at the River Ru
n Centre, Co-operators Hall on Sunday October 28 th from 2 to 5pm.
Paulwas a dedicated teacher/mentor and technical director in the Theatre Studie
s program at the University of Guelph since 1980 and Queen’s University 1978
-80. He was for many years the technical director for Guelph Spring Festivaland stage manager/backline for Guelph Jazz Festival. A tireless volunteer,his contributions to the Arts community include the Festival of Friends, H
illside Festival, Relief benefit concerts, Theatre Max, Guelph Firefighte
rs annual haunted house, internet/computer training for Wellington Freespac
e, and a myriad of others. The stage lights were dimmed on October 4, 2012but his passion, integrity and love of life will continue to shine in all
who knew him. Please join Paul’s family and friends to celebrate the life ofthis remarkable man.
