Teaching Talk #3: What is Accessible Multimedia?

The core areas of multimedia accessibility are: synchronized captions, text transcripts and/or audio descriptions. This webinar will help you understand what is required, how to meet the requirements and what resources are available to make your digital content accessible. Accessibility should be considered during the design phase when choosing to use a digital platform to present and combine text, graphics, audio, and video with links and tools that let the user navigate, interact, create, and communicate.

OpenEd is very kindly going to hold a session for COA on Monday June 8th 1:00 to 2:30. This will be geared towards academic instruction. The top 3 things we hope to cover here:

Virtual University Budget Town Hall

An invitation to Faculty, Staff and Students to attend the Virtual University Budget Town Hall. Provost and Vice-President (Academic), Charlotte Yates will host a public forum on the 2020-2021 Budget. This is an opportunity for the University community to ask questions regarding the current fiscal outlook.

Teams Session Info

The time slot for the Teams sessions will be Monday, June 1st from 2 until 3:30 (or longer if needed). Jon (Teams guru from CCS) will lead us from 2 to 3, and Chris will stick around after 3 to address further questions for as long as it takes!
