The University of Guelph’s renowned Scottish Studies Collection boasts an outstanding array of Jacobite-related materials that speak to the complexity of the Jacobite movement, the deep divisions it generated, and broad alliances in which it was implicated. History Society Book Auction at the Bullring!

The History Society will be hosting its last event of the semester, a book auction from 5:30 to 8 pm on Thursday, March 30th at the Bullring! The event will be MC’d by Megan Gamble, as well as Professors Kevin James and Linda Mahood! The History Society will also give away prizes and food throughout the evening. Please keep in mind that accepted payment methods will only be etransfer, small bills ($5 & $10), loonies and toonies.

RESCHEDULED to Mar. 25 - Tri-University History Conference

We are excited to announce that the 2023 Tri-University Conference, “Imagining a New History: Interventions in Historical Research” has been rescheduled. The new conference date is Saturday, March 25th, 2023, from 9am to 6pm. We hope to continue with the same schedule currently posted on the website, but this may change depending on panelists’ availability.
