This course introduces students to philosophy through the exploration of basic perennial philosophy problems and questions. Topics include knowledge and belief (what do I know about the world?), scientific method (should I believe the results of science?) and free will (did my neurons make me do it?). The readings for the course consist primarily of 20th century philosophical writings.
