Sandra Singer's publications include Doris Lessing: Interrogating the Times (Ohio State UP 2010), Doris Lessing’s The Golden Notebook After Fifty (Palgrave Macmillan 2015), J. J. Steinfeld: Essays on His Works (Guernica 2017), and Stock Characters in 9/11 Fiction: Homosociality and Nihilist Performance (Peter Lang 2019). Her most recent work is titled Entanglement and Entopy in Claire Messud's Novels (Cambridge Scholars 2022).
Undergraduate and graduate teaching focuses on narrative, trauma studies, and terrorism in fiction and film. Additionally she teaches courses in Critical Practices and 19th century to contemporary literatures.
