Details
This workshop is designed to introduce history students (both new recruits and seasoned veterans, 1st to 4th Year) to some of the principles of writing papers and book reviews in history. We'll discuss:
* avoiding common grammatical and structural errors that tend to appear in history papers;
* planning and constructing introductions and conclusions;
* paraphrasing; and incorporating direct quotations from primary and secondary material.
