I feel very fortunate to have studied music at the University of Guelph. The large variety of classes offered provided me with a solid base of musical knowledge with which I can pursue further study. Additionally, the small class sizes allowed me to develop strong working relationships with my professors, who were all extremely kind and knowledgeable in their respective fields. I’m very fortunate to have spent four years studying music at the University of Guelph. I grew as a performer, improviser, scholar, and as a leader. Thanks to the guidance of an incredible music faculty, I now have the opportunity to earn an MA in Music and Culture at Carleton University and pursue a career as an academic. The music program opened a number of doors for me. I’d recommend anyone interested in studying music to enrol at the University of Guelph.
