Myles Calvert graduated from the School of Fine Art and Music in the Studio Art and Art History programs in 2006, specializing in printmaking. After graduation, Myles travelled to London, UK where he completed his MA in Printmaking in 2009 at Camberwell College of Art (University for the Arts, London). Since then, Myles has worked as a sessional instructor in Printmaking at a variety of institutions such as Sussex Coast College, University of Guelph, OCAD University, Alfred State College (SUNY College of Technology), and most recently Alfred University in New York as a Visiting Professor, where he has been teaching since 2015. His specialties vary from several varieties of Printmaking, such as screen, etching, mono, and litho, laser engraving, sublimation, editions, mixed media, and product design. Myles’ courses at Alfred University include: Intro to Printmaking, Advanced Printmaking, Digital Printmaking, Senior Advising and Graduate Advising, among others. His installations and exhibitions have been displayed around the world, including the United Kingdom, China, Spain, Australia, Mexico, the USA and throughout Canada. He is currently showing at IndigoArt in Buffalo, New York.
