This year's Great Lakes Ottomanist Workshop (GLOW) gathering o
f Ottomanist scholars from both sides of the border will take place on Easte
r weekend, March 29 -31. The program is attached. The Saturday / SUnday ses
sions, many of which highlight new frontiers in Ottoman Studies, are open
to faculty and students from Guelph. Please feel free to join us - sessions
include roundtables on environmental history in Middle East/Ottoman Studies
