Jessica majored in Art History and double minored in Art Theory & Criticism and Museum Studies here at the College of Arts. While a student at Guelph she worked for Archival & Special Collections in the library and volunteered at the MacDonald Stewart Art Centre (now the Art Gallery of Guelph). After graduation, Jessica worked in the heritage and museums industry with roles such as Heritage Coordinator for the Township of Wilmot and interpreter for THEMUSEUM in Kitchener. While working she pursued an online diploma in Library and Information Technology through Mohawk College. It was during her work study at Western Archives that she decided to transition careers into library and archival work. After being accepted into the Master of Library and Information Science program at Western, Jessica started working for London Public Library, and then for the University of Waterloo after completing her degree. She is now the Librarian of Special Collections & Archives at the University of Waterloo.
