Selfhood, Agency and Autonomy in ethical theory and animal ethics
I'm currently working on a textbook about media and communication ethics in Canada, as well as new work on animal agency and autonomy.
I have designed and written distance education courses including PHIL 2080, Animals in Philosophy and PHIL 2600, Business and Professional Ethics. Courses I've taught in-class and online include Ethics and the Life Sciences, Philosophy of the Environment, and elsewhere courses in the history of philosophy, existentialism, ethical theory and applied ethics (media, business, environmental, etc.), gender issues and feminist philosophy, and other courses in environmental studies, media and media theory. I currently teach courses at the University of Guelph-Humber including Women in Contemporary Canada (designed and written for DE in 2020), Media in the Global Context, Ethical Issues in Media and Ethics and Values in Business.
