Philosophy and Literary Art (PHIL*2220)
Term: Fall 2013
Details
There are many ways to study the conjunction of philosophy and literature. Taking literature philosophically, one could on content, or focus on form, or focus on the materiality of the texts, or even focus on force: what texts, what words, do. In this course we will read literary texts (novels) and philosophical essays on aspects of writing & literature, with an eye to content, form, materiality, and action.
