FASTWÜRMS -
Description
Working together since 1979, FASTWRMS is well known for their joint authorship, collaborative and multidisciplinary practice. Social exchange and 'pratiques relationnelles' best describe the critical focus of their artwork. FASTWRMS has taught at the Ontario College of Art and Design and the Toronto School of Art. The artists and many collaborators have exhibited and created public art commissions, performance and interdisciplinary projects across Canada, Europe, Japan, and the United States. Permanent public art commissions include the integrated sculptures of "Turtle Pond" at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and "Ex Ovo Omnia" at the Macdonald Stewart Art Centre. FASTWRMS artwork can be found in numerous public museums and private collections.
