Caitlin Vito is a 2012 graduate from the School of Languages and Literatures in European Studies, who was able to see just how far her Arts degree could take her. After completing her degree at Guelph, Caitlin went on to pursue her Masters Degree in Global Studies as a joint degree from Leipzig University and the University of Vienna. While studying, Caitlin had an opportunity to participate in an Exchange Semester to Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. While here, she was the Project Assistant for the Ethiopian Ministry of Education. This experience was just the beginning of her opportunities abroad. Caitlin took on positions around the world, such as a Trainee for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Vienna, Austria and for North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) in Brussels, Belgium. In 2015, Caitlin took the position of Research Administrator at the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) in London, UK, and then Research Analyst and Coordinator in 2016. Currently, Caitlin still lives in London, stationed at the High Commission of Canada in the United Kingdom as a Political Officer, advocating for Canada’s international foreign policy priorities.
