Course Selection for the Winter 2025 semester begins on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at 8:00 AM according to the number of credits completed and in progress. Please be sure to register for your courses as soon as your course selection window opens. If you delay your course selection, this may result in you not being able to access your required/preferred course choices.  Course Selection continues until Friday, January 10, 2025.

Students will be unable to enroll in courses (or make changes) using WebAdvisor/Student Planning during the following time periods due to scheduled maintenance:

  • 8:00 AM to 12:00 NOON on Monday, November 11, 2024.
  • 8:00 AM on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 through to 8:00 AM on Wednesday, December 4, 2024.

A reminder that when making additions or changes to class schedules on/after December 4, 2024, students must also ensure that their Fall 24 Final Exam schedules remain conflict-free (the Final Exam schedule will be posted when the system comes back on-line on December 4th).

Winter 2025 classes begin on Monday, January 6, 2025.

  • If you are new to the Music major for the Winter semester and would like to register in an instrumental ensemble course MUSC 1710, then you will require instructor consent.  For MUSC 1710 01 (Jazz), please contact: Brent Rowan -  browan@uoguelph.ca. For MUSC 1710 02 (Music Industry Skill Ensemble), please contact: Noel Thomson - nthoms02@uoguelph.ca.
  • Music Theatre is not accepting new students for the Winter 2025 semester.  Only students who have taken MUSC 1810/2810/3930 will be permitted to access MUSC 1820/2820/3940.
