Career Information Session with the Canadian Society of Medical Laboratory Science (Virtual)

Krista Urchenko, MPH, BSc, MLT, currently sits as the Director, Ontario on the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Sciences (CSMLS) Board of Directors. After spending 7 years working as a medical laboratory technologist in public health microbiology and virology, she recently transitioned into regulatory affairs in the federal government.

She received her Bachelor of Science [Major] in Microbiology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Manitoba in 2011, her Advanced Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences from The Michener Institute at UHN in 2014 and finally her Master of Public Health from the University of Waterloo in 2019.
 
Krista is a passionate advocate for women in STEM and spends time volunteering with a number of non-profit organizations in mentorship roles.

This event will consist of a career information presentation, followed by a question and answer period, which will be moderated by Career Advisor, Julia Leary.
