You're invited to join the U of G community for an engaging discussion around gender equality and identity with the bold objective of breaking down barriers and stereotypes. By participating in these workshops, you can help us improve equality and inclusion on our campus.
These virtual workshop discussions are facilitated by Commerce students from the Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics and are open to all U of G students, staff, and faculty.
Space is limited and registration is required.
The workshop discussions are part of the HeForShe movement at the University of Guelph (led by UofG's Lang School of Business and Economics, College of Engineering and Physical Sciences and Gryphon Football). The HeForShe movement was initiated by the UN and is a solidarity campaign for the advancement of gender equality. Its goal is to achieve equality by encouraging all genders to partake as agents of change and take action against negative stereotypes and behaviors. Grounded in the idea that gender inequality is an issue that affects all people—socially, economically, and politically.
Please note: There will be a screen recording during the workshops, but no sound/audio will be recorded. More details about the HeForShe workshops can be found at uoguelph.ca/lang/workshops
