Write to Publish : Communicating with Journals and Negotiating Publishing Contracts

The library is leading a workshop on Monday, March 24, from 1 to 2:30 p.m., that is designed for graduate students, researchers, and faculty, focused on communicating with journals and negotiating publishing contracts.

When planning to publish your work, knowing how, when, and what to communicate with a journal editor can increase your chances of acceptance and open new opportunities. This two-part session will cover key correspondence—before, during, and after submitting your manuscript, followed by a discussion on how to understand and negotiate your publishing contracts. We'll have plenty of time for questions and answers afterwards.
