Introducing The Guelph Coding Community
Tomorrow marks the first ever Guelph Coding Community (GCC) event. Organized by School of Computer Science undergraduate students Corey Alexander, Danielle Fudger, Jon Snowdon, Lee-Jay Cluskey-Belanger, and Ryan Wilson-Perkin, the group was created to explore computer science topics not typically offered during regular class time.
Tomorrow night's workshop will begin with two presentations by Wilson-Perkin and Fudger. Interested in learning about Building with Bootstrap? Want to know how to become a ninja master with Google-Fu? Tomorrow's event is for you. Build better websites, improve your search skills, and have fun.
The event takes place in Reynold's 114 at 7pm. Be sure to bring your laptop. And spread the word. The GCC is open to any programmer of any level. Invite your geeks, suggest ideas, get involved.
