We hope that you can attend the CEPS Student Research Day. The event will be held in the Summerlee Science Complex Atrium on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, between 1:30 pm and 3:30 pm.

This event is a chance for the university community to learn about new research being done by our undergraduate and graduate students. Up to 40 students will showcase their work during our poster presentation competition and compete for cash prizes. We ask that you highly encourage your undergraduate and graduate students to participate!

We are additionally looking for 2 presenters to give captivating presentations. If you have any suggestions, please let me know!

Light refreshments will be provided.

How to Register

If you would like to register as an attendee, please fill out the CEPS Student Research Day Registration Form or email bdavieng@uoguelph.ca by October 2, 2023. This will help us with catering numbers

Poster Presentation Format

One poster board is allocated to each poster presentation. The maximum poster size allowed is 58 inches by 47 inches, recommended orientation is landscape. Each poster presenter is required to defend his/her poster during the respective poster session slot to be eligible for awards.

Winners will receive the following cash prizes:

• $500, 1^st place poster presentation
• $250, 2^nd place poster presentation
• $100, 3^rd place poster presentation
