Andreas Boecker, Associate Professor at FARE, was interviewed by CBC on the background and possible impacts of the new CFIA interim policy defining "LOCAL" food. Interviews were aired on May 28 on CBC Radio Stations Windsor, Thunder Bay, Winnipeg, Saskatchewan, Edmonton and Whitehorse.

 

An agricultural and natural resource economist, Professor Fox has been a member of the Department of Food, Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of Guelph since 1985 and served as acting department chairman from 2001-2002. His research interests include property rights and natural resource stewardship, regulatory takings, trade and environment, technological change, and transaction costs.

Yi Zheng's Master of Science defence took place on Wednesday, April 24th, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in Room 315, MacKinnon Building.

The title of her thesis is:  "Adoption of Total Mixed Ration Practice and Profitability: The Case of Ontario Dairy Farms".
