Fox, G. 2010. "Green Energy: An Ontario Prespective."

Aaron de Laporte's PhD Thesis Proposal defence took place on Thursday, September 23rd, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in Room 106, Rozanski Building.

The title of his thesis proposal is "Land Use, Economic and Environmental Impacts of Green Energy Policies".

Paul Guerra's Master of Science defence took place on Friday, September 24th, 2010 at 10:00 p.m. in Room 107, J.D. MacLachlan Building.

The title of his thesis is "Investment in the Provision of Ecological Goods and Services on Private Rural Land in Ontario: A Framework for Policy Development".

Michael Weber's Master of Science defence took place on Tuesday, September 21st, 2010 at 8:00 a.m. in Room 319, J.D. MacLachlan Building.

The title of his thesis is "The Influence of Management on the Technical Efficiency of Ontario Cow-Calf Farms".

Dr. Almuhanad Melhim, Research Associate working with Dr. Alfons Weersink is speaking about "Inside the $15-Billion Race to Save the Honeybee" in the Canadian Business magazine September 2010 issue.

Congratulations to Dr. Glenn Fox in becoming a CAES Fellow. This is in recognition from the society for his years of innovative scholarship and productive service. In addition to becoming a CAES Fellow - Glenn also won the 2010 CAES publication of enduring quality. Once again congratulations.
Karl Meilke was an invited speaker at the Midwestern Legislative Conference annual meeting where he participated in a session on “Reducing Barriers to Bilateral Trade in Agriculture" in Toronto

Apichaya (Pat) Lilavanichakul's Master of Science defence took place on Friday, August 27th, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in Room 107, J.D. MacLachlan Bulding.  The title of her thesis is "Consumer Acceptance of a New Traceability Technology: A Discrete Choice Application to Ginseng".

Shashini Ratnasena's Master of Science defence took place on Monday, August 30th, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in Room 107, J.D. MacLachlan Building.  The title of her thesis is "An Analysis of the Effect of Milk Compositional Standard on the Profitability of Ontario Dairy Farms".
