Simone Ianniello, a fourth year Bachelor of Commerce student majoring in Food and Agricultural Business has been presented with the Co-op Student of the Year Award in the Bachelor of Commers, Arts and Science, and Arts programs on March 2. Congratulations, Simone!

The Dept. of FARE would like to extend a warm welcome to Dr. Gunjan Bhandari. Dr. Bhandari is a scientist at the ICAR-National Dairy Research Institute, Haryana, India and has been a collaborator with Dr. Tongzhe Li on policy issues in the Indian dairy sector.   Dr. Bhandariwill be presenting her research findings on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, starting at 9:45 a.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.

 

The Department of FARE is excited to welcome Dr. Di Fang. Dr. Fang will give a seminar at 2:30pm in MCLN 107, Monday Feb 13th in MCLN 107

Professor Michael von Massow was awarded the Betty Clyde Award at the Annual OAC Good Times Banquet at Ancaster Fairgrounds on Jan. 22. The Betty Clyde Award is presented to a faculty member for making a lasting impact on the student body.

Aaron Lorenz, advised by Dr. Yu Na Lee, has received one of the presitigious SSHRC awards in the 2022/23.  The Canada Graduate Scholarships-Master’s (CGS M) Program aims develop research skills and assist in the training of highly qualified personnel by supporting students who demonstrate a high standard of achievement in undergraduate and early graduate studies. Congratulations, Aaron!
