Sebastian has spent his post undergraduate years working in Latin America. Through a CIDA internship, as project manager for KIVA and as a travel writer, he has gained perspective as to the potential benefit of making small loans to marginalized entrepreneurs. In Costa Rica and Bolivia, he worked alongside leaders of coffee cooperatives, seamstresses and farmers; he hopes to continue this line of research at Guelph.
