The University of Guelph provides orientation specifically for international students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and exchange students to support their transition to a Canada and more specifically to the University. 

We will be offering an airport shuttle bus from Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) to the University of Guelph (ONLY to the main campus, located in Guelph, Ontario) on Tuesday, August 27th, 2019. ​ If you are arriving at the Toronto International Airport on that day, we encourage you to use this service. This workshop is intended for faculty and instructors who are interested in developing skills for navigating cultural difference in their classrooms, labs, supervisory duties or other teaching/learning environments. The session will provide participants with their own personalized, confidential assessment of their current strengths and challenges around navigating difference and an individualized, Intercultural Development Plan to assist in further developing their intercultural skills.

The University of Guelph is a member of the Association of Public and Landgrant Universities and we encourage U of G community members to participate in the 2017 APLU Commission on International Initiatives Summer Meeting. The meeting will be hosted by the University of Alberta and the University of Calgary at the beautiful Delta Lodge at Kananaskis, in Kananskis, Alberta, Canada July 16-18, 2017.

Homa Hoodfar will lecture on “Politics, Sexuality and the Right to Critical Thinking: My Time in Evin Prison” Feb. 7 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in Rozanski Hall, Room 103. The event is free and open to everyone.

All students, staff and faculty are invited to “Hope in Challenging Times: A Gathering for Reflection, Support and Solidarity.” Together, we will speak about mental health.
