Recent business alumni receive College of Business and Economics Recognition Awards
In addition to celebrating the graduation of our business students this week, the College of Business and Economics had the opportunity to present this year’s Recognition Awards, which recognize the significant academic, extra-curricular and teaching achievements of business students.
This year, the College of Business and Economics honoured:
Ruben Burga in recognition of receiving the College nomination for the D.F. Forster Medal – Doctoral
For outstanding academic achievement, involvement in extracurricular activities, leadership and citizenship
Alexander Hinton in recognition of receiving the College nomination for the D.F. Forster Medal – Magisteriate
For outstanding academic achievement, involvement in extracurricular activities, leadership and citizenship
Jamie Cain in recognition of receiving the College nomination for the W.C. Winegard Medal
For outstanding academic achievement, involvement in extracurricular activities and contributions to the University of Guelph and community life
Annette Umoru in recognition of receiving the College nomination for the Governor General’s Medal
For outstanding academic achievement
Jillian Brown received the Bachelor of Commerce Leadership Prize
For contributing significantly to the Bachelor of Commerce program through extracurricular leadership activity and academic achievement
Nathan Friedman won the CBE Distinguished Scholar Award – Undergraduate (Highest Cumulative Average)
Presented to the student with the highest overall cumulative average
