Study: Canadians losing interest in cannabis edibles
Cannabis-infused edibles will be legal to purchase for recreational use in Canada in October, but new research from a study by Dalhousie and University of Guelph suggest Canadians may not be as eager to embrace them as they were two years ago.
Simon Somogyi, Lang business professor and Chair in the Business of Food at the Arrell Food Institute, co-authored the study, along with Dr. Sylvain Charlebois and Janet Music at Dalhousie and Brian Sterling from SCS Consulting.
The study compares Canadian attitudes toward cannabis products with those in 2017, prior to legalization.
